Our New Garden

our application was approved for a garden plot in the fenway gardens. I went today at 4:00pm to meet the coordinator and the president to choose a garden. we [teA & I] are officially fen-garden-gardeners. our new garden is partial shade, partial sun garden and there is a very large beautiful willow tree right at the edge that falls into the garden. it makes it so cozy.

the pictures don't look like much, mostly because it has not been kept up in some time. but there is much weeding and landscape design to come. before you know it, I will be sending out invites for garden tea parties. get your dresses, hats & gloves ready ladies!!

PIG @ The Webster Theater

on a whim terrence and I hopped in the car and headed to hartford last night
to see PIG perform at the webster theater.

I wasn't able to get too many photos of the band and the stage lighting
was horrid, however thanks to gabe I was able to get in front of the stage
and take a few decent pictures.

friday was picture day here at DISTRO.Y.
ferris, terrence and myself had a fun filled day of taking Polaroids of
one another and hogging the photo booth in the food court here in downtown.

I have more pictures to post from our photo day extravaganza, but for now...
here are some of the pictures we ended up with by the end of the day.

we will be showcasing at the Fusion Ethos Fashion Event on Friday April 28th 2006 6pm - 10pm and Saturday April 29th 2006 2pm - 7pm. I will be making another post with more information about this event.

I was taking photos today around the office as the sun was preparing to set.
our office is in a very old lofted space [circa 1900's]. the windows & neat old architecture of the space
lend well to the casting of shadows at certain times of the day. when the sun is shinning directly onto the building it creates these amazing shadows on the walls. because of all of the neat shadows through out the office I decided to cast some of my own.

The Void Above Bird Skirt
